Overview: Our Digital Age is racing ahead, but in many parts of the world the payments infrastructure is very much from another century. Amazon has built its success on its "platform," which underpins everything that it does. Now the payments industry is starting to catch up. WIth the New Payments Platform being rolled out in Australia, Open Banking arriving in the UK, as well as FinTech playing a major role in delivering digital payments, there's a lot going on. This afternoon workshop aims to deliver an insight into the Australian NPP platform and to examine the benefits for the airline and travel industry and for how travel is sold. In addition, some of the digital payments and development initiatives for the airline & travel industry will be reviewed.

The objectives of this meeting included to:
• Enable participants to get a better understanding of NPP
• Share some of the digital initiatives happening in payments/fraud for the airline & travel industry
• Facilitate great networking to help participants with contracts related to payments & fraud
